Spring at ARC

Spring at ARC

Despite lockdown and quarantine, our ARC Residents are keeping busy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our individuals from Residence 1 have taken up a green thumb; planting vegetables and fruits in the community garden. These vegetables and fruits will be used for cooking at the Residences later this year and will also be donated to staff.

And things have certainly not been quiet! Throughout our Residences we’ve been having game night, karaoke and other activities to keep our Individual’s socially active. All activities have been organized with proper CDC guidelines in mind and PPE thanks to generous donations of face masks and gloves.

Our Board President Jaimie Blackman even got involved and gave a private performance for Residence 1. Jaimie jammed out to The Beatles on his guitar with our Individuals; lifting spirits with the healing power of music.

Staff have been providing service through regular phone calls and video chats with Individuals while ARC’s day programs have been closed. We’re still here to support you virtually as needed.

We look forward to opening our doors again to welcome you back soon. Stay tuned for updates.
