Summertime means two ARC Annual Events that we look forward to every year: The Annual Block Party and our Day Hab Fun Day!

Annual Block Party

This year’s Annual Block party was a huge hit. On July 27 we had over 400 attendees take over our block; including staff members, ARC participants, friends, family and local Brooklyn community members. Also representatives from all five of our residences attended. We love how this day brings everyone in the ARC circle together!

The Block Party has been one of our favorite events since 2014. We have music, a variety of food options, snow cones, giveaways and a bounce house. We truly take over the block!

Day Hab Fun Day

Don’t worry, you haven’t missed it. Our Summer Day Hab Fun Day will be Friday, August 9. This is our third year hosting the event and we are excited to continue this incredible tradition

Activities will include competitive races, field games and face painting. ARC will provide food and Fun Day tee-shirts for attendees to take home as a souvenir. We are happy to announce that this year’s event is sponsored by UPS and SpiritWear.com.

Family members of Day Hab participants are invited and encouraged to come. Invitations were also sent to other OPWDD agencies throughout the community.
